Come Stay at The Cliffhouse vacation Home Big Island, Hawaii

We were completely enchanted with the Cliffhouse! Relaxing on all of the patios and decks to listen to the Ocean, listen to the Frogs and watch the Geckos was really special for us. The house was clean and very organized! We felt so at home and BBQ’ed numerous nights and relaxing each night to watch the Ocean and the nook beneath the Cliffhouse on the point of Ookala!

We were impressed with the facilities and convenience of being in an actual “home” instead of a resort style room where we could have our kids and friends with us to celebrate our milestone!

Hilo, was a really laid back place to visit and we found lots of fun places to go and experience the Hawaii coast the way we wanted!

We highly recommend the Cliffhouse for the magical environment and the simple, easy process for sharing the home!

Stayed at this beautiful house with my adult children and grandchildren and their friends. The home is beautiful, unique and has breathtaking views. The home was clean, well appointed furniture and we had everything we needed for our weeks stay. The location was perfect, about 35 minutes from Hilo, an hour 45 minutes from Kona. There are many parks and water falls within 45 minutes of the home. The kitchen had everything we needed to eat in for most of the week. I highly recommend the Hilo farmers market for produce and Georges meat market. The host was attentive, responsive and helpful. I highly recommend this home.

Loved our stay with our family of 6 of all ages 6-84! The view was a delight from every room and plenty of spots outside to enjoy the ocean. In the evening the Coqui frogs serenaded us all night long with the waves crashing all the time!

This side of island is beautiful and waterfalls everywhere! The colors of green is so vivid that looks iridescent!

The little quaint villages all along Hwy 19 are a delight and found delicious food in all! We expected a lot of rain but surprisingly it was never an issues in what we did!

We are ready to return as didn’t want to leave! Mahalo for sharing your place!

My extended family has visited the Big Island many times. We love a beautiful view, privacy, and to feel like we live there. Ocean Soul fits the bill perfectly. This house hangs off a cliff over the Pacific Ocean with waves crashing below. The view simply takes your breath away. We spent hours on the outside lanai just soaking in the beauty. We saw 6 breaching whales cruising by and loved the sound of the Cochi frogs every night. We enjoyed Hawaiian dishes prepared in our kitchen every night. There are floor to ceiling windows in every room, so the outside view is always insight. The lap pool was great for getting a workout in paradise. We loved this house so much that we already booked for next year.

Oceansoul is a once in a lifetime experience. The home is surrounded by clifts, overlooking crashing waves and a tropical paradise. All the amenities were perfect to include the shower room. We are so blessed to be able to experience the home. The home is in a perfect location between beaches, botanical gardens, waterfalls and everything Hawaii has to offer.

To say we had a wonderful time at this amazing location does not begin to convey the actual experience. This is a place you have to live for yourself to understand. To make your decision on {if this is the right vacation home for you}, I will try to list the pros and cons. 1. We drove the entire island, highways and backroads and this part of the island is the most beautiful, lush, and relaxing. also this island is big and its a drive to everything, but this location was great for going both to Kona side, south/volcano side, and best of all the north end. Be sure to explore the immediate area though, waterfalls everywhere. 2. The property management team is awesome. We had a couple of issues and they had someone out that day to address them. Also the cleaning crew/person? is a keeper, this oceanfront home in the jungle was one of the cleanest inside and out, and the windows were spotless. Not an easy thing seaside. 3.The pool was perfect!! Best place for stargazing, gathering, chilling. 4. The views will not soon leave our hearts and minds. 5. The sounds of the jungle and surf, LOVE IT… If i have to point out something negative then I would caution that this might not be a great place for children(very steep cliff side) or aged/tired folk (like myself) because there are many stairs to climb in the home. We would not hesitate to return or to recommend it to friends. and one last note, book a massage at the home with Summer, (you will find her card), she was amazing !!

My wife and I celebrated a wedding anniversary at ‘Ocean Soul’ and were completely in awe of the experience.We were greeted by the manager’s husband Micah who enlighted us on the property and all it had to offer. The first night at 3 AM we lounged by the pool and just gazed at the heavens _ never have I seen so many falling stars and a sky so bright. The kitchen was well equipped and Jessica the manager had even left us a bottle of champagne to celebrate our anniversary( so thoughtful ) we don’t drink though. The property is centrally located _ so Farmers Markets are within driving distance and so many locally grown fruits & vegetables are available to purchase & enjoy. White Pineapple was the best ( only on the island ). Restaurants, snorkling, horseback riding, hiking are just a few of things we enjoyed while staying at Ocean Soul. Beautiful tropical parks are everywhere and the people we met all had a spirit unparalleled to anyone _ anywhere. Our hope is that we can return very soon, and we both extend sincere gratitude to the folks that made this possible.

We stayed a week at Ocean Soul about 28 miles from Hilo on the big island. This home sits on a cliff overlooking the ocean. The views from the master bedroom are to die for. You can hear the waves hitting the rocks and there are balconies on all levels of this split level home. The walk-in closet and hot tub in the master bedroom that looks right over the ocean are awesome. We never wanted to leave. The only drawback is the lack of central air conditioning at this time of year. There is a window air conditioner in each bedroom but none in the living room. There are also no blinds in the living room so if you want to watch the news in the morning the glare on the TV makes it very hard to see. Then again we didn’t spend much time watching the TV. The pool is also fabulous and the price was really reasonable. The property management team are incredibly helpful and friendly. I can’t wait to be able to come stay there again. We swam with turtles, saw botanical gardens, saw volcanoes, saw waterfalls and rainbows. What more can you ask for.

Ocean Soul was exactly what we needed it to be: our own private Hawaiian retreat complete with a breathtaking, private view of the Pacific! We did some touring along the coastline and loved getting to know the little village of Honokaa to the north. The pool was cool and inviting and the staff was super helpful and responsive with great local recommendations. We will come again!

Property manager easy to work with. The house is unique, beautiful. Over 3 weeks time 7 adults stayed at different times all loved the view, watching and listening to the waves. The master bedroom is fabulous with a unique shower. The smaller bedrooms not so much. Not suitable for young children. We would stay there again.
